![]() ![]() It seems a little clunky, how you have to import the files into LR's library. Since the Windows version can only demosaic, would I then need to sent it off to another editor (C1, LR, etc) for the actual editing? I'm a little surprised to hear that LR's DAM is popular. I did read up on Iridient, but it doesn't look like the Windows version has quite caught up yet. ![]() Jonathan, thanks for pointing me towards Thomas Fitzgerald's blog, I just started reading it but there is some great stuff there. Are there any interactions between these programs that I'm overlooking? Thanks! I'm brand new to Fuji, and pretty new to digital photography in general. I'm looking for a critique on my selections. Also quite expensive, but I see the value in it. That said, the catalog seems very Lightroom-esque, so I won't be using that function. I'm admittedly a total newbie, but after about 8 hours on C1P I was able to do some pretty decent edits. I'm still researching that, as I'm not clear on it. ![]() But, I've heard that it does some kind of hidden double-backup something to store edited photos. I had most of the last week off so I spent it downloading free trials of processing software, watching the tutorials, and editing the same few images.ĪCDSee as a catalog, and JPEG editor. For the past year I've been using Lightroom for the Oly, but I've never enjoyed it's catalog method or UI in general. I just ordered my first Fuji camera after a year with my first interchangeable lens camera (an Olympus), and I've been doing a bunch of research on which RAW converter handles the X-trans files best. ![]()
